I have downloaded the newest version of the client but every time I try to install it gets to the point of Starting services then fails and rolls back the installation. The windows event log contains Windows Installer installed the product.Under Network adapters, delete anything related to FortiClient, e.g.Fortinet virtual adapter; 5.
Forticlient Er Install It GetsIt s in folder temp, probably has name FCTInstall.log. I tried to attach the install log, but it s bigger than forum allows and it won t accept zip files. I have followed the steps above, rebooted and reinstalled, and continue to recieve the error. I broke up a log file into 5 parts so it is small enough to post here. Forticlient Er Driver Services AndDid you installed other version of FortiClient before Could you try deleting any FortiClient related driver services and reboot (follow my previous post) You can also delete the network card and let windows discover it again. I ran the remover to clean everything and then I checked both Network Adapters and Services looking for anything left behind. Everything seems clean so I restarted my laptop and I tried again. Can you please have a look to the enclosed installation log and provide me some clues about what can I do to complete the installation Thanks in advance Regards Achille. Install log from beginning to a point where rollback is in process is attached Any ideas post edited by artsperry - 20150621 13:59:39.
